How To Make Web Sites – Step by Step

When I was first starting to learn how to make web sites, I was honestly a bit intimidated. Maybe you are curious and asking yourself “Now, how do I make websites?”, you can find a simple method by following these simple steps below that will put you on your way to making your own website!
Domain name
First of all you need to procure a domain name. People will be sent to your site through this address called a domain name which is inserted in the address bar. Personally, I’ve found that the best place to buy a domain name is at godaddy.com, however there are hundreds of sites that you can buy them from.
Website hosting
After that you need to set up a web hosting plan. There are tons of web hosting sites out there as well. On the internet, your web host is considered to be your website’s “home”. In case any questions arise, be sure to sign up with a company that has a great customer service department and consistently gets good reviews.
Site builder
Design your site! You can use any site builder, or you could even use WordPress if you want an easier way to do it. Do not take content from other websites, use your own unique touch to fill it.
Optimize
After that, you should optimize it! Make sure that all the links on your site work, and that your site is readable to everyone who visits.
Publish
The last step is publishing the site. Once your website is published, the major search engines such as Google and Yahoo will start to index it. This will usually happen automatically, but you may want to post some articles to article directories to speed up the process.
If You are still asking “how to make web sites”, the above is all you need to know. You can make your first website and start attracting visitors if you follow these easy steps.
